Friday - July 11, 2008
8:00 p.m. - The Gladeville Soldier’s Ball on Main Street in front of the Courthouse. Music provided by Mean Mary and Frank. Bleachers for viewing. Come dance under the stars.
Saturday - July 12, 2008
10:00 a. m. - Dennis Boggs as Abraham Lincoln, Lonesome Pine Regional Library.
11:30 a.m. - Brunch with the Generals at Mosby’s Restaurant. Camps open to the public.
12:00 to 5:00 - Presentations and Demonstrations by Union & Confederate Soldiers in the camps. Dennis Boggs will present Abraham Lincoln to the public. Photos with the generals at the command tent on the grounds.
2:00 p.m. - Dennis Boggs at Lonesome Pine Regional Library.
3:00 p.m. - Ladies Tea at the Masonic Lodge, seating for 150 available.
5:00 p.m. - Welcome Parade for Re-Enactors
6:00 p.m. - Capture of Gladeville on Main Street, capture of the Courthouse by Union troops.
7:00 p.m. - Re-Enactors Dinner at the Municipal Pool - Re-Enactors Only!
7:45 p.m. - Wise Cemetery, Dedication of Union & Confederate Soldiers.
Sunday - July 13, 2008
1:00 p.m. - Period Service…bring a picnic lunch for “Dinner on the Ground” on Lake Street
2:00 p.m. - Battle at Cranesnest - Lake Street.
Second meal for Re-Enactors provided. Time to be announced.
